Before using this in research
The goal is not to adopt another tool. The goal is to reduce verified research time without weakening the evidence trail.
Best for
Researchers preparing narrative reviews, background sections, grant rationales, or early systematic review scoping.
First step
Collect 10 to 20 seed papers and ask the tool to organize themes, not to write the final review.
A safer workflow
- 1Separate evidence discovery, evidence extraction, outline design, and prose polishing.
- 2Build a table of study type, population, intervention or exposure, outcomes, limitations, and relevance.
- 3Ask AI to identify themes and contradictions, then verify each theme against original papers.
- 4Write the final argument manually, using AI output as structured notes rather than authority.
Watch-outs
- Do not let a tool invent citations or flatten conflicting evidence into a neat story.
- Deep Research outputs often need manual correction of methods, populations, and causal language.
- Medical conclusions require author responsibility even when the outline was AI-assisted.
Evidence checks
- Does each paragraph have at least one traceable source?
- Are study types and evidence strength clearly separated?
- Have you checked whether cited papers actually support the sentence?
